Easy & Lovely Christmas Ideas

Eccoci! Avete già finito di decorare la casa per le feste di Natale? Il nostro è un "work in progress", c'è sempre qualcosa da aggiungere!
Vi suggeriamo qualche idea low cost per decorare in modo semplice ma molto carino e anche un po' Nordico.
Non c'è bisogno di molto: nastri, cordoni, rami, pigne e un po' di creatività.

Here we are! Have you already finished the decorations for Christmas? Our is a "work in progress", there is Always something to add in!
We suggest some low cost ideas to decorate in a very simple way but so nice and even a bit Nordic too.
You don't need so much: ribbons, cords, branches, pine cones and a bit of creativity.

Cominciamo con la corona, un vero must have degli addobbi che non dovrebbe mancare nell'home decor di Natale! Abbiamo usato un telaio da ricamo in legno (facile da trovare nelle mercerie, ma potete anche creare la base con dei rami sottili e fissarli con un cordino). Potete decorare come più preferite, noi abbiamo usato dei rami di pino (se non avete un giardino chiedeteli al vostro fiorista) fissati con del filo di ferro (da fiorista, ma potete usare anche un cordino) e qualche pigna (le trovate nei negozi di addobbi)attaccate con un po' di colla ai rami (così finite le feste potrete recuperare la base in legno semplicemente rimuovendo il filo di ferro) e abbiamo rifinito con un cartoncino con i nostri auguri...non è un'idea regalo carina?! Ovviamente potete decorarla a piacere, magari con i biscotti che vi abbiamo proposto il mese scorso, con bacche e molto altro. A noi piace così...semplicissima.

Let's start with the crown a real must have of the decorations that should not miss in the Christmas home decor. We used a wooden embrodery hoop (easy to find in the embreodery specialised shops, but you can also make the base by bending thin branches and securing them with a cord). You can decorate as you prefer, we choose some pine branches (you can ask the florist for them) fixed with the wire (the florist one, but you can also use a cord) and pine cones (available in the decorations shops) fixed with a bit of glue on the branches (you can recover the wooden base by simply removing the wire, finished the feasts) and we finished with a Greetings card...isn't it a lovely gift idea? You can add what you like more, some cookies, like the ones we suggested last month on the blog, berries and much more. We like it by this way... so simply!

Le candele non mancano mai a casa nostra, soprattutto in questo periodo, ogni anno decoriamo i davanzali delle finestre con rami di pino e porta candele...questi sono facilissimi da realizzare! Potete recuperare passamanerie vintage, pizzi o feltro da tagliare a misura dei vasetti di vetro (quelli di conserve e marmellate), avvolgete i vasi e fissate con un nastro o un cordino (Se dovete fare un regalo fissateli con ago e filo)...dovete solo trovare il posto adatto, accendere le candele e godervi l'atmosfera.

 The candles are never lacking at home, especially in this period, each year we decorate our windowsills with pine branches and candle holders, this one are really easy to make! Just recover some vintage trimmings, lace or felt, cut them of the size of your glass jars (those of preserve and jams) wrap them and secure with cords or ribbons (if you want to gift them use needle and thread to fix)...you just need to find them a suitable place, light the candles and enjoy the atmosphere.

E per le finestre (e molto altro)...un filo di lana, pigne e un po' di colla...dovete solo scegliere il colore (ognuno ha il suo Natale!) e in pochi minuti anche l'armadio vintage o la parete un po' spoglia faranno parte dell'atmosfera!

And for the Windows (and much more)...a wool wire, some pine cones and a bit of glue, you just have to choose the color you like (each one has its own Christmas!) and within few minutes even the vintage cabinet or the bit bare wall will be part of the feasts atmosphere!

E poi arriva il momento dei pacchetti regalo! In questo periodo le nostre creazioni handmade sono in partenza per portare un po' di Natale ai loro destinatari e adoriamo preparare confezioni speciali! Scatole, carta da pacco o di giornale, nastri e decorazioni e i biglietti d'auguri che non devono mai mancare. L'importante è che siano fatti con il cuore!

Boxes, wrapping paper or the news paper, ribbons, decorations and the Greetings card which should Always be there.
The Important thing is to make them with the heart.
